Kevin M. Coughlin

Kevin was a practicing attorney in Baker & McKenzie LLP’s Corporate and Securities Practice Group (San Francisco/Palo Alto) prior to becoming a founding member of Coughlin Capital, LLC. In this practice, Kevin worked extensively with venture capital funds, private equity, startups, private securities, and large investment banks in their review and investment of emerging businesses. Kevin also gained experience representing a variety of public and private companies in mergers, acquisitions and general corporate governance issues.

Kevin is a member of the State Bar of California. He received his B.A., cum laude, from Santa Clara University, and his J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of San Francisco School of Law. Kevin serves on the board of Go Beyond Lighting.

Carl P. Coughlin

Prior to becoming a founding member of Coughlin Capital, LLC, Carl was a business development professional at Golden Gate Fields and At, Carl was a consistent top performer, contributing to the growth of the innovative “Chat” sales channel that delivered over $12 million in year one. At Golden Gate Fields, Carl successfully streamlined the sales and customer management processes, implementing new marketing initiatives that increased attendance by more than 10 percent.

Carl obtained his B.S. in Marketing from the Leavey School of Business at Santa Clara University, and an MBA with a dual concentration in Finance and Entrepreneurship from the Masagung Graduate School of Management at University of San Francisco. During his graduate studies, Carl also worked as a business development consultant for several companies within the automotive and manufacturing industries. He serves as a board member of Go Beyond Lighting.

David Moritz

As an expert in training, operations, and financial policy, David is a CFO/COO who is focused on improving performance for increased profitability at firms such as On Time Lighting and Cardio Partners.

In 2014, David took responsibility for the development and performance of the On Time Lighting training network, significantly improving the bottom line. David is a certified public accountant who has served as chief financial officer of several successful St. Louis-based private companies. He is a proud alumnus of the University of Missouri – St. Louis with a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in accounting.

Francis X. Coughlin

Before joining Coughlin Capital, LLC as a founding member, Francis successfully developed and launched a profitable startup mobile marketing company before becoming the Director of Strategic Initiatives for WoltersKluwer Health. At WoltersKluwer, he was responsible for major change management initiatives, the implementation of cross-functional processes to streamline operations, and the identification and integration of add-on healthcare software companies.

Francis obtained his B.S. in Organizational Behavior from Miami University and his MBA with a concentration in Finance from the John Cook School of Business at Saint Louis University. Francis serves as a member of the board at Go Beyond Lighting.
